For women trying to become pregnant, the fertility drug Clomid was more effective when combined with n-acetyl-cysteine (NAC). In a clinical trial, the women taking NAC plus Clomid were 11% more likely to get pregnant. They also had better quality eggs and a thicker uterine lining.
